Hollywater Judo Club started in 2010 as an after School Club at Hollywater School, which is a Community School for Children with Additional Needs. In October 2014 The Club was opened to the Public and training was held at Frogmore Leisure Centre, Yateley. Following a change in building design at Frogmore Leisure Centre in 2017 the club moved back to Bordon Hampshire and training was held in the Prince Philip Military Barracks. Mid way through 2018 the MOD sold off the Barracks to a development company which resulted in closure of the Club in Bordon. In August 2017 The Hersham Village Society enquired via one of the Club Coaches who lived in Hersham, if Hollywater Judo Club would consider setting up a club in Hersham and in January 2018 we opened the Club in Hersham. Hollywater Judo Club is a club that is Licensed by the Sports Governing Body, The British Judo Association. We are also affiliated with The Special Olympics Great Britain Organisation (in fact we are the only Judo Club in Surrey that is). Hollywater Judo Club is also a member of The British Blind Sports Association.
